New Arrival

Firstly, I must apologise for such a gap in my posts.  If you read on, the reason will become clear.

I became a Great Aunt for the first time at the beginning of February to Seren Krista.  She is absolutely beautiful!  Her name Seren means 'star' in Welsh.  I'm afraid that I have no photos at the moment as the day I called to see her, she had just fallen asleep and I didn't want to wake her up.

My youngest son then caught the flu and was off school for a week, he was terrribly sick.  I then caught it off him, so another visit to see the new arrival was impossible.

I am making a little quilt for Seren at the moment and hoping to finish it this weekend.  Gemma, my niece, had decorated the nursery in neutral colours so I followed suit.

So at the moment, things are pretty hectic as I am trying to catch up with lots of different jobs that were neglected.  But that's life.  It's now my husband's turn to have the flu.
